Donghwan Yoon<\/h1>\n

Violinist Donghwan Yoon is named the prizewinner of the \u201cEmerging Artists Award\u201d by the Korea Music Journal, and he was selected as an artist for the \u2018Samsung Rising Star\u2019 Series in 2016. As a soloist, he performed in Florence (Italy), Apeldoorn (Netherlands), Bonn, Cologne (Germany), and at the \u201cKlassik Fest 2009\u201d in Switzerland, and in 2011, he was invited to perform at the Klassik Fest and the Zurich Arts Festival. The following year in 2012, he was chosen as the featured artist for the \u201cSurprise Concert\u201d at the Zurich Tonhalle, and that performance was recorded live.<\/p>\n

Donghwan Yoon settled in Seoul, Korea, and launched his career there with his highly praised recital at the Seoul Arts Center in February 2015. He performs actively as a member of the Korean Chamber Orchestra and guest concertmaster of the Pohang Symphony Orchestra and Chungnam Symphony Orchestra, as well as a member of the ZHdK Strings.<\/p>\n

He has performed such renowned musicians as Shlomo Mintz, Sarah Chang, Arto Noras, Ilya Gringolts, Rudolf Koelman, Elina V\u00e4h\u00e4l\u00e4.<\/p>\n

Currently He is teaching at Yonsei University in Korea.<\/p>\n
